Bio

Photography has been an important part of my life for the last six years. During business and personal trips to places like Nashville, New Orleans, and Israel, I roamed the streets taking photographs and developed my skills as a street photographer. My journey was enabled using Leica M cameras and lenses, and directed for the last four years by my teacher and mentor Stella Johnson, an acclaimed, Boston-based photographer.

Since 2013, my work has been shown in a number of juried exhibitions. I am very fortunate to have Photoworks at Glen Echo in Maryland host my solo show, “Reflections on Jerusalem.”

Professionally, I am President and CEO of the Federation of American Hospitals. Prior to joining the Federation, I spent many years serving as a professional staffer in the US Senate and House of Representatives and working for the health insurance industry. In my career of over thirty years in Washington, DC, I have been fortunate to play a role in much of the federal health care delivery and financing policymaking.
